FOOTBALL WORLDCUP 2022 SEMI FINAL 2

FRANCE VS. MOROCCO - MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

France beat Morocco to reach second consecutive World Cup

The World Cup Qatar soccer tournament had one match left in the semi-finals on 14 December (15 Japan hours), and defending champions France defeated Morocco 2-0 to advance to the final of the World Cup for the second consecutive time. France will be looking to become the third team in history to win back-to-back titles.

France took the lead in the fifth minute of the first half when Mbappe spilled a shot from Mbappe surrounded by six defenders. He added another goal in the 34th minute of the second half.

The final at 6 p.m. on the 18th (0:00 a.m. on the 19th Japan time) will be between Argentina and France.

Despite a series of breakdowns, France wins back-to-back World Cups for the first time in 60 years

The semi-finals of the World Cup Qatar took place on the 14th December(15th Japan time), and France defeated Morocco to become the third team in history to win the tournament back-to-back.

Defending champions France became the third team in history to challenge for back-to-back titles. It will be the first time in 24 years that the World Cup winner has reached the final since Brazil, who won the 1994 World Cup in the United States and lost in the final of the '98 World Cup in France. Despite the danger of a series of breakdowns, they are looking for the third peak.

They were also caught off guard against Morocco, who became the first African team to reach the semi-finals. Captain goalkeeper Lloris said: "We have to start at full throttle and maintain our performance until the end." Forward Benzema and defender L. Hernández withdrew due to injury before the start of the season, and the tournament will be played with 24 players, two fewer than the regulation, but their speedy style has not changed. They have conceded just one goal in their five matches leading up to the quarter-finals.

Only two teams have won back-to-back World Cups: Italy in '34 and '38 and Brazil in '58 and '62. Many superstars such as Maradona (Argentina) in '90 and Zidane (France) in 2002 have challenged and been repelled.

Coach Deschamps, who won the '98 tournament as a player and led the team to the previous tournament as a coach, does not seem to be proud even if his third championship is approaching. "There is no miracle formula, my job is to get the best out of the players and get the best results depending on the situation and the players at hand". As we said before the semi-final, we will keep our composure and challenge for back-to-back titles for the first time in 60 years.

Palestinian citizens cheer for Morocco national team: "Made a new history of the Arabs"

The citizens of Israeli-occupied Palestine cheered enthusiastically on the Morocco national team, who were aiming to become the first Arab country to reach the final of the World Cup.

In Ramallah, Palestinian Territories, a large screen was installed in a square in the center of the city on the 14th. Many citizens cheered and wore Moroccan and Palestinian flags.

The Moroccan government agreed to normalize relations with Israel in 2020. While the Moroccan national soccer team has been promoting "Arab solidarity" by flying the Palestinian flag on the pitch after defeating Spain in the first round of the playoffs.

Morocco narrowly lost to favourites France on the 14th, but Ayham Salah, a 22-year-old auto mechanic from Nablus, Palestinian territory, said: "The players encouraged us [under occupation] and taught us that the people of Morocco are still there for Palestine. I want to thank you." Mohammed Asaf, 37, who runs a furniture store in Ramallah, said: "It's unfortunate, but Morocco has made a new Arab history. I will do my best to support the third-place match."

Israel, on the other hand, has many Jews from Morocco. The Israeli newspaper "Jerusalem Post" published a photo of the Moroccan national team on the front page of the 14th with the headline "We are all Moroccans".

Brother's remorse, younger brother takes the lead, France wins back-to-back Soccer World Cup

The semi-finals of the World Cup Qatar took place on 14 December (15 Japan hours), and France defeated Morocco 2-0 to become the third team in history to win the tournament back-to-back. France will face Argentina in the final on 18th December.

No matter how many main players are missing, it has nothing to do with France now. New heroes come out one after another every day. On this day, T. Hernández, who started on the bench in the first match of the tournament, brought momentum to the team.

Five minutes into the first half, Griezmann broke through the right flank and ran furiously up the opposite flank to the front of the goal. When Mbappe's shot hit an opposing player and bounced high, he jumped up and struck it with his left foot. "I'm proud that I scored the goal". He silenced the Moroccan crowd with a lightning-fast opener, and rejoiced with open arms.

The 25-year-old plays for AC Milan in Italy. His attacking prowess has emerged as a full-back for weapons, and he made his full international debut last year. In this tournament, his first World Cup, he is on the pitch carrying the regret of his brother.

His older brother, L. Hernandez, who was a member of the 2018 World Cup Russia winning squad, injured his right knee in the first match of the first round against Australia and withdrew from the team. Hernández replaced his brother in that game and assisted Rabiot's equaliser, followed by another assist against Denmark. He also led the team to the final, saying, "I want to share the happiness with my brother, I really can't believe it."

The main players who supported the previous championship, such as ace Mbappe, who leads the attack with five goals, and Griezmann, who struggles offensively and defensively, are still alive and well. In addition, new players can play freely. "I think the final will be a great game," said Hernandez. The champions, who boast a substantial roster, will challenge for back-to-back titles for the first time in 60 years.

Mbappe and Hakimi, best friends match up Soccer World Cup semi-finals

The semi-finals of the World Cup Qatar took place on 14 December (15 Japan hours), and France defeated Morocco 2-0 to become the third team in history to win the tournament back-to-back.

It was a big match to advance to the finals, and it was a match between best friends of the same age. France's Mbappe and Morocco's Hakimi play for the powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain. After the match, the two exchanged jerseys and praised each other's efforts.

Mbappe, who plays mainly on the left flank up front, and Hakimi, the right-back, have matched up many times.

Early in the second half, Mbappe seemed to run up the left flank with a clever touch, but a few minutes later, Hakimi blocked Mbappe who tried to get out of a through pass. It was a spectacular battle and defense.

Born in the same 1998. Hakimi joined Paris Saint-Germain last summer and became team-mates, with whom they have developed a friendship both on and off the pitch.

On the 4th of last month, when Hakimi celebrated his 24th birthday, Mbappe posted on Instagram, "Happy birthday, brother for a special person," and after Hakimi qualified for the semi-finals, he tweeted to Mbappe, "Friends, let's see you soon." It was a match we had been waiting for.

Mbappe headed straight for Hakimi, who had collapsed on the pitch immediately after the match ended, and hugged him. Later, on Instagram, he posted a two-shot, saying, "Don't be sad, everyone is proud of what you did. You've made history," he posted, praising his rivals.

In the 5th minute, Morocco's defence faltered as France dominated the World Cup

The semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar took place on 14 December (15 Japan hours), and Morocco lost 0-2 to defending champions France, missing out on the final for the first time as an African team. Morocco will face Croatia in the third-place match on 17 (18).

"If I have any regrets, it's the start of the game." Morocco coach Regragi recalled. They conceded just one goal in their five matches leading up to the quarter-finals. The defence that was the driving force behind the breakthrough frayed just five minutes into the game.

Fill the space by laying strong blocks in your own half, and surround the opponent at the moment when he shows a gap to win the ball. His style was neutralized before the overwhelming power of French ace Mbappe.

Mbappe received a pass slightly to the right of the goal, but Hakimi quickly came close and blocked the shot. However, it was a melee and seven people were attracted and pushed by T. Hernandez, who was free on the opposite side.

It was the same in the 34th minute of the second half. Six men were attracted by Mbappe, who cut from the left of the goal to the centre, and the spilled ball was converted by Koromuani on the far side.

However, other than conceding a goal, the content was intense. After switching to a thick system in the midfield midway through the first half, they were able to press high in the opposition half and pressed in with powerful attacks. The coach's words that "we still have to work hard to reach the level of winning the World Cup, but it's not that far away" are not just a stretch.

His opponent Griezmann also paid the biggest tribute. "I was impressed with Morocco, they were well tactically tactical, both offensively and defensively." Despite the defeat, the defensive football was fascinating.
